What can broker do if salesperson is not paying desk fee and francise fee for remax?

1. Kick them out and sue in court. Small calims might work depending on the amount of the fees etc.
2. I would assume the salesperson and the broker entered into the agreement with a contract? While a contract can never superceede the law it gives absolute steps in just such a situation. You did get a contract didn't you?
3. It is no wonder your not able to pay them, your lack of intellect prohibits you from being a sucessful agent. Go back to the used car business.
4. They have every right to terminate the agreement, which unless you have a broker's license, just put you out of a job.
5. Since you signed a contract with ReMax they can sue you for specific performance of the contract. Meaning they can collect 900.00 per month fee multiplied by how many months you have left on your contract. Or whatever fee you negotiated when you signed the contract. Go talk to your broker and tell them you cannot afford to pay the monthly fee and work it out with them.
