how long do you think it would take to drive from anchorage alaska to san diego,california..?

and back? planning a 12 day road trip.Need to be back home in 12 days,just looking to drive and cruise while seeing some of the sights and good eats along the way. Suggestions in traveling also welcome.

1. Amazing. You would see the amazing mountains in alaska...if you're a skiier, and an EXPERT skiier, you could ski alaska. If you aren't very good or a beginner, on your way down in Whistler, British Colombia, Canada..hit up whistler blackcomb. You would see all kinds of amazing landscapes, and different kinds of places and I'm sure you would have many experiences that you will remember. Good luck. Have fun.
2. It would take a minimum of 58 hrs driving time each way . That would be about six 10 hr days both ways. All you could do is DRIVE. No time to enjoy the trip. Need to shorten the trip to have time to enjoy it. See website below.
3. Dang! I agree with the other poster. You won't be able to enjoy the trip because you will be exhausted from driving all the time. Are you sharing the driving with someone else? Please don't speed. A tired driver is a dangerous driver. I suggest you make other plans or fly because 12 days is just not enough time for a nice, memorable trip.
