is it possible to rent a car at anchorage, alaska and drive through canada to seattle and return it there?
i want to rent a car at anchorage and drive to seattle. is it possible that i drive through canada and go to seattle and return it there before i return back home to bangkok?

- yes. it is a one way rentlal. They will charge an additional fee to do it.
- Yes. Ask the company, Budget or Hertz or whoever, if they have a location in Anchorage and one in Seattle and it shouldn't be a problem. Enjoy your trip and drive safe ;-)
- I am sure it is. Check with the rental car company. The rental car company might have a policy about taking the car into Canada, but every company I have used could have cared less. Keep in mind that Canada requires special proof of insurance cards. Check with your insurance agent before you go to get one of these cards (since it sounds like you are from Thailand, perhaps check with the rental company before hand). In terms of renting in one city and driving to another, this can be done, but expect to pay top dollar to do so. I drove a car from Chicago and left it in Milwaukee (about 100 miles) for one day and it cost me about $250.
