Where is a good place to live in Anchorage, AK?

I just moved to Anchorage and am looking for a nice apartment in a good area of town. I have found many apartment complexes that seem to be in bad areas (drugs, crime, prostitutes) and I was hoping for some help with finding a nice apartment, town home, condo, etc. in a good area of town.
